This Special Issue on Gender, PE, and Sport brings together original research presented at the 20th World Congress of the International Association of Physical Education and Sport for Girls and Women (IAPESGW), held in Cebu, Philippines, in November 2025. Convened under the theme Equity in Action: A Global Dialogue on the Advancement of Women and Girls in Physical Education and Sport Innovation, the Congress united scholars and practitioners from across the globe in a shared commitment to increasing meaningful participation of girls and women in physical education and sport.
